What We Know About the Shriram Uttarpara Mall
Recent management commentary describes the future Uttarpara plan as a true mixed-use township rather than only housing. Along with apartment towers and villas, it lists a shopping mall, office development, senior living, a school and a hospital.
Until the mall is built, everyday retail inside the township comes from Shriram Signature Square, a G+5 retail and office building of about 1,69,738 sq. ft., and from the busy markets along G.T. Road in Uttarpara and Konnagar.
The mall's catchment would include residents of about 5 million sq. ft. of existing Shriram development at Uttarpara (around 80% sold as of February 2026), future phases, and the established towns of Uttarpara, Konnagar, Hind Motor and Rishra.
